Tochigi | Nasu-machi

This is the Nasu Highland spread out on the foothills of Nasu Mountains Range with the main Mt. Nasu-dake. The view of the changing colors of the autumn foliage consists of rowan trees, Enkianthus, and maple trees turning red at Mt. Chausu, and Mt. Asahi-dake. There is a ropeway from the foothills to the mountaintop, and the view from the mountaintop and the ropeway is splendid. In addition, along the Prefectural Route 17 Nasu Kogen Line at the foothills (old volcano highway), one can view colorful rowan and maple tress.
