Oshira-sama means Sirayama Shrine. The Weeping cherry tree in the precincts of the Shirayama Shrine is said to be 210 years old. It is a huge cherry tree, which is 10 meters in height, 3.7 meters in diameter and branches that are 19 meters long stretching to the north, south, east and west. Even though it is an old tree, it blossoms gorgeously pleasing the visitors a lot. It is a Natural Monument designated by Yuzawa City. Free rest areas and tea service have also been planned.

Basic information
